Vulnerability
The events at our airports remind us how easy it is to disrupt just-in-time operational systems. Maybe part of our defence and security policy should be building in 'redundancy' to these systems accepting the costs and lower day to day efficiency? I will have another look at this in relation to food distribution shortly...
